Key to Relational Doors

forgiveness                                             chain

You are forgiven.  Those words are just as hard to say as “I’m sorry”.  Yet, we long to hear those words when we’ve wronged someone.  We love to hear those words from our holy, righteous Savior.

Jesus said one who has been forgiven much loves much.  Haven’t we all been forgiven MUCH?  The very fact that we are sinners and could NO way meet the standard of THE HOLY GOD and, yet He chooses to forgive us, if/when we come to Him through His Son, Jesus, is astounding.  Wow!

But then we… hold a small temporal matter over one another by not forgiving.  Even when we know forgiveness if for our benefit as much as the other persons and it’s commanded by our Savior.

The sobering thought about forgiveness is that we will be forgiven to the extent we forgive others.

‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.’ Matthew 6:12

Let’s open doors of our relationships with being the first to offer forgiveness!

Blessings!
