Is your glass half full or is it half empty? Do you look for the good in a situation and in people? Or do you see what’s bad?
Funny thing is that often the “bad” that we see was just a WRONG perception. That’s right! We may have been in a foul mood so we saw what we perceived to be bad – when that wasn’t the case at all.
You know the idea of “looking through rose colored glasses”, right? It’s that we naively see all as bliss. Well I, for one, would rather be “blissfully” happy than sour and unhappy because I choose a negative perception.
Most situations and people have some good in them! Sometimes we see it right off and other times we have to dig a little. But, trust me…you can find the good if you want to find the good.
Today, let’s look for the good. It will let the joy of the Lord shine through you. And that’s what life is about – letting other see Jesus in us!
